In the eyes of many, music is something that they like to listen and dance to. But for Leon Roberson Jr. a.k.a. LRJ, music is not only a career it’s a way of life. For LRJ, that life began on the rugged Eastside of Houston, TX. Throughout all of the adversities, LRJ attended the Art Institute of Houston where he studied video production, audio engineering, and script writing. LRJ graduated from the Art Institute of Houston in June of 1999.

Southern Gladiators was established in 1997.

Southern Gladiators plan to be one of the hottest rap groups out of Houston, Texas. Southern Gladiators are presently in the studio completing their first CD "Ready IV War"

Mercury Legion was established in June of 2000.

The idea behind Mercury Legion has always been to create music outside of the boring formula cookie cutter crap currently being fed to the masses. Mercury Legion was founded on the idea that music should be original, authentic, fun, entertaining and undeniably energetic. Mercury Legion’s music contains a diverse mix of sounds, from feel-good rock tunes to technical punk with a metal edge.
